Renovation of Minuwangamuwa Primary School

Minuwangamuwa was established in 1946. It is a Primary school that is currently in a bad condition and with little prospects and means to improve the situation. Prior to this, the school was in fact closed between 2001 and 2003. It is the only resort for local children to receive a form of primary education.

After scoping this project in March 2017, Boost Foundation aims to renovate this school , so it can obtain a valid status for government funding and can grow in a more sustainable fashion. As the second ‘Building a Future’ project, again partnering with our local partner FutureCare, Boost Foundation is eager to conclude it in a similar successful fashion as with the Pittawella primary school.
